Maribor has been officially dropped as the site of the Golden Fox competition. The International Ski Federation has confirmed that the women's Alpine Ski World Cup event will take place in Kranjska Gora instead.
The Golden Fox was last held in Maribor in 2019. It then had to be relocated to Kranjska Gora due to lack of snow. What was first planned as a "spare" location, will now become the regular host of the women's competitions.
