France's Victor Lafay won today's 2nd stage of the Tour de France from Vitoria-Gasteiz to San Sebastian in the Basque country. Wout van Aert of Belgium was 2nd with Tadej Pogačar finishing in 3rd place.
Today's stage was one of this year's longest at the Tour, at a shade under 209 km.
Pogačar picked up some more bonus seconds ahead of what most people see as his main rival, defending champion Jonas Vingegaard of Denmark.
He is now up to 2nd in the General Classification, 6 seconds behind Adam Yates of England.
Yates' twin brother, Simon, is in third place overall but on the same time as the Slovenian.
