The score was 2-0 at half-time with both goals coming from Benjamin Šeško.

Slovenia got off to the perfect start when Šeško scored from the penalty spot in the 16th minute. He added a second goal in the 28th minute.

The third and final goal was scored in stoppage time at the end of the match by Erik Janža.

The European Championships take place in Germany next year between the 14th of June and the 14th of July.

Slovenia's next match is away to Northern Ireland on Tuesday evening.
