Eriksen becomes the 4th highest scorer for Denmark with 42 goals and was named the UEFA Man of the Match today.
It is more remarkable considering the fact that he suffered a cardiac arrest in the first game of the Euro championships in 2020.
Slovenia hit the post just before Janža's equaliser. Jan Oblak also made a number of important saves, especially near the end of the match as Denmark searched for a winner.
The Slovenian fans seemed happier after the final whistle. It was Slovenia's 4th ever match at the championships. They have won three of those and lost just one.
The other game in Group C on Sunday evening was between England and Serbia.
Slovenia's next match is against Serbia in Munich on Thursday. That kicks off at 3 p.m.
