Slovenia is reintroducing border checks with Austria. As of midnight, entry to Slovenia from Austria will be restricted. There will be medical checkpoints at 13 crossings. Only those foreigners with a medical certificate showing a negative coronavirus test, or a body temperature below 37,5 degrees, will be allowed entry.
The rule does not apply for Slovenian citizens and residents, or cargo transport, which will continue to be allowed to cross the border.
