The Slovenian government will donate EUR 500,000 in humanitarian aid to Gaza and EUR 70,000 to Armenia, to be sent via the UN and Red Cross. Slovenia will also participate in the Peace Day Effort for Israel and Palestine, starting in mid-November.
The government decided to give EUR 500,000 in humanitarian aid to Gaza and another 70,000 euros to Armenia. The money will be sent to the UN and Red Cross respectively.
The government also said that Slovenia would participate in the Peace Day Effort, a peace initiative for Israel and Palestine.
Those groups are due to start work in mid-November.
Ten children from Gaza arrived in Slovenia today. Their flight from Cairo, via Istanbul, landed in Brnik this morning. They will receive medical care and psychosocial rehabilitation at the Soča University Rehabilitation Institute.
