Slovenian ski jumper Anže Lanišek finished 2nd in the World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt, Germany today. Victory went to Poland's Dawid Kubacki.

It ended an excellent weekend for the 26-year old from Ljubljana after his victory on Friday.

In the women's event, Urša Bogataj took 3rd place. The winner was the home favourite Katharina Althaus.

Earlier in the day, and also in Germany, Tim Mastnak finished 2nd in the opening World Cup race of the season in Winterberg.
