Sweden is the winner of this year's Eurovision song contest. This was Sweden's 7th Eurovision victory and is now tied with Ireland as the most successful Eurovision country. Sweden's representative Loreen has also become the first female artist to win the competition two times. The only other artist to win the Eurovision song contest twice was Ireland's Johnny Logan. Finland's representatives finished second and Israel's third. Slovenia's Joker Out finished 21st. The band said it was disappointed with the result.
