The representative of the Novo Mesto Police Department Alenka Drenik said for STA that the refugees had been apprehended while crossing the state green border were taken to the Brežice Police station, and the process for their return had been initiated. According to data from the General Police Administration a number of smaller groups of people had tried to cross the border at different places.

The proces for returning 150 refugees who arrived last night by train to Dobova had been initiated as well. The Slovenian authorities tried to return them to the Croatian side, but the Croatian authorities rejected that possibility. After several hours the refugees were taken to the Alien Centre in Postojna.
