With last night’s award ceremony, the 23. Annual Dnevi komedije or days of comedy came to a close. Among the seven competing shows the satire of the Ljubljana Drama titled Misterij Buffo while the comedy Siti teatra BTC »Tak si« was the one that drew the most laughs from the audience.

The satire of Majakovki Misterij Buffo shows 11 individuals, who survived the Flood and travel to the promised land. The jury deemed it the best comedy of the festival and its director, Aleksandar Popovski the best or »žlahtni« director. Maša Derganc, with her role in Misterij Buffo won the title of best female comediant.

Aleksandar Popovski also directed the show the audience picked as best, a comedy by Vojnovič »Siti teatra Tak Si«. Klemen Slakonja's performance in this comedy earned him the title of best comediant by switching from character to character of different passengers and caricaturing the transformations of today’s man.

The biennale award of best/noble pen or »žlahtno pero« for best Slovenian original comedy went to director and playwright Matjaž Zupančič for his comedy “Vorkšop na Moljera” in which he plays with the well known and classical literary material of Moliere’s Tartuffe and placed it into modern times.
