The 37 millionth visitor was Zinka Kolenc from Črnuče who took her grandsons to Postojna cave.

At proclamation of the 37 millionth visitor the representatives of Postojna cave announced that this year the number of visitors from Slovenia was higher by 7000 compared to last year. "This year the Slovenians contributed to the increased number of our visitors," was their estimation.

Kolenc was rewarded with a package of 22 travels to different destinations all over Slovenia, and sightseeing of all the attractions of the Postojnska jama complex. The present is well thought out: "We keep saying how beautiful Slovenia is, how diverse, but once you pack all that into a product containing 22 Slovenian jewels – which is the number of our nicely growing baby olms – then you feel confident that Slovenia could, with adequate promotion, keep visitors here even for months in a row," Marjan Batagelj, Director of the Postojnska jama company, explained.

They believe that by the end of the year the number of this year's visitors will grow to one million.
