The Murska Sobota police was informed yesterday that liquid manure was flowing on the road from Plitvički Vrh towards Spodnja Ščavnica. Later, the police received a report of polluted water in the Ščavnica River. The consequence is a massive fish kill.

Police investigators, joined by relevant institutions, are now gathering more information about the incident.
