At this round jubilee of the unique woman, designer and artist, whose creations are the essential accessories of fashion inspired ladies and all elegant women, the organizers of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (MBFWLJ) paid their respect to Grošelj. They dedicated to her the exhibition of 50 years of creative accomplishments. She was also presented with a honorary award: "I am happy that my work is appreciated; I feel honoured."

Her bags stand out; they are distinctive, exclusive, ahead of time, aesthetically accomplished, and above all – durable, made of the best materials. Her creations are thus passed down from mother to daughter, which makes Marjeta especially proud.

Marjeta made her first steps on road to success already as a teenager; each morning at six she went to work into her father’s factory of leader fancy goods TOKO. There she learned all procedures of design of products from leather, and after she completed her education she went through a year of training in England. At the early age of 21 she opened her own shop, with her father’s help, in the Tavčar street in Ljubljana – and the shop has remained open until today. You can meet her there every day, as Marjeta considers personal contact with her clients very important.

She intends to design bags as long as her health will permit it; she suffers no lack of ideas: "Creativity doesn’t pass, I would say it even becomes easier as the years go by, because of the accumulated knowledge, and perhaps because one becomes bolder." Her work philosophy? "Always the best, always something new – I believe that is the most important."
