The Defence Ministry is choosing a new jet servicing company that will take over the maintenance of the jet for the next four years. The new contract is to be worth around 6,5 milion euros. The price is far higher than what the government has been paying until now. In the last two years the Swiss RUAG Aviation company received around 330.000 euros per year for taking care of the jet.

The acquisition of the jet has been questioned ever since it was bought 13 years ago. The Falcon is still on sale. Last year it was used 18 times by government officials.
