The vehicle, also known by its nickname Bulli, is among the most recognizable designer achievements of the 20th century. It was the symbol of Germany's economic miracle and a synonym for the free-spirited 1960s. The combi van is a vehicle which wins over people's hearts and so it is no surprise that its followers can also be found among newer generations from all around the world.

Owners of the famous Volkswagen Combi are known for their originality, with which they often customize and upgrade their vehicles into an object with a distinctive personal note, an authentic message and functionality, adjusted to the needs and style of the individual or family. With that in mind and the legacy of the vehicle the Velenje-based manufacturer of home appliances designed a line of refrigerators called Retro.

Gorenje created a refrigerator with a recognizable front side in the form of the letter "V", a vintage look with curved lines and dazzling chrome, signed with the famous VW. The refrigerator comes in baby blue or dark red paint combined with a champagne colour.

It will presented to the public for the first time in September, after which it will also be available for sale. You can get a first look at it on the photograph below.
