The works on display have been provided by five members of the International Association of artists (AMFPA) who paint with their mouths or feet.
All of the artists have one thing in common, they have developed a very special gift. Some have been creating paintings for many years and have received numerous awards and positive feedback from artists and critics alike.
Vojko Gašperut (1949) for example mostly deals with seaside landscapes and was one of the first artists to start painting, despite his severe disability. He also had a great impact on younger artists such as Silvo Mehle (1971). The other three artists whose work is on display at the ARS gallery are Benjamin Žnidaršič (1959) and two artists from abroad: Italy's Mario Barbujani (1956) and Yitzhak Adir (1947) from Israel. The International Association AMFPA from Liechtenstein supports more than 800 artists from 78 countries.
