Petrol Olimpija defended the title, becoming Slovenia's national champions for the 17th time in total. This was the fifth match of the final series in ten days. Olimpija profited from a wider selection of players and home court advantage. The match result was decided by the fresh Roko Badžim, who scored seven out of the team’s nine points in the overtime.
Krka played without its first play organiser and the team's driving engine Domen Bratož, who had been expelled in the fourth match.
The most valuable player of the Liga Nova KBM final was Devin Oliver. He scored 16 points (nine rebounds), and so did Mitchell McCarron. The first scorer of the Dragons was Jordan Morgan with 23 points (8 rebounds). Krka’s best player was Žiga Dimec, who scored a double double – 21 points and 12 rebounds.
