During the weekend – more precisely on Saturday and on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the square which is full of people already on Fridays, thanks to the Open kitchen (Odprta kuhna), will again come alive; this time with hectolitres of beer, and the aroma of roasted beef, bacon, and everything else necessary for a genuine, juicy burger. This time the choice of gourmet burgers will be even bigger, at least judging by the photos in promotion material the providers have made another step – or two – towards innovativeness, and we can look forward to a real feast.

And as nothing tastes so well with a good burger as a beer of good quality, the organizers made sure an enviable choice of beers will be at visitor's disposal, from imported beers to Slovenian craft beers, whose imprint is becoming more and more noticeable.
We saved the best for the end: the April Beer & Burger event will be only the first from the three in total; the festival will be repeated in July and in October. But you shouldn't count on that, and expect the crowd will be thinner … We suggest you take your place in the queue as soon as the chefs light their barbecues.
