One of the author's of the project, Urška Kešar, says »it is right to translate the English terms into Slovene and thus preserve Slovenia's scientific terminology, and our language in general.« The authors hope the dictionary will not only aid their fellow students and professors, but the business community as well.

The English-Slovene Dictionary of Biotechnical Terminology was presented on the 10th anniversary of the Biotechnical Faculty at the University of Ljubljana.
