Bojan Dobovšek, one of the high-profile members of the party of Prime minister Miro Cerar (SMC) has quit the party.

He confirmed last night for Radio Slovenija that the reasons for quitting the party were the same that he had presented earlier. Dobovšek had previously been the candidate for the post of Interior Minister but refused to take the post saying at that time that the party does not follow its own values the fight against corruption and patronage any more.
