The minister for infrastructure visited Dravograd yesterday to discuss the so-called third development axis. Residents hoping for a clear timetable were disappointed.
Austrian officials, who also attended the meeting, stressed that better infrastructure was also important for Austria, as the largest investor in the region. Officials in the town of Slovenj Gradec, which lies in the north, also stressed that despite paying taxes, people in the region were not enjoying the same privileges as other people in the country.
