Minister Veber explained that he presented PM Cerar with the material and data that the defence intelligence service (OVS) collected about the defence ministry's network. The two also went over the material presented by Veber. "We reviewed the content in detail. PM Cerar also consulted on the matter with legal experts," said the minister. PM Cerar now awaits additional clarifications from the minister, as well as other legal opinions, to determine the lawfulness of Veber's order to examine the effects of the potential sale of Telekom Slovenija.

The two agreed to make the document available to the public. The minister will also send it to the defence committee, where minister Veber already spent four hours explaining his action. Veber assured that there existed two documents examining the consequences of the potential sale of Telekom Slovenija. One of them is the report which is public and was already sent to the government. However , the government still hasn’t discussed it. The other document is a working document of the OVS.

"It is in both our interests to give answers to all the questions at hand and wash away any doubt that the country's security is at risk," said the minister. Veber also faces a possible ousting motion. However, according to the Veber his role as minister was never brought under question during his meeting with PM Cerar.
