The tire test was performed on the polygon of the Association of Drivers and Mechanics Celje. It was performed with a police car and an external driver from the company AM Ljubljana. According to the Police Union of Slovenia the tires were tested for their comparability and performance.With the test the Interior Ministry wanted to obtain data on the response of different tire manufacturers on both wet and dry ground.First reactions have shown that Goodyear and Dunlop performed best, as did the domestic Sava tires for the everyday usage. According to the Police Union the "critical Goodride tires weren’t recommended by the experts." The official and full results will be announced on Monday.
