Slovenia's new parliament is set to convene this week. The most likely prime minister, Miro Cerar, met with five political parties but not the SDS.
It's believed that the United Left will be joining the SDS in the opposition. If Cerar is joined by the pensioners' party DeSUS, they would already have 46 seats, or enough for a majority. So far, DeSUS is the only party that has openly said it is interested in joining the new government. Negotiations will continue this week. A new coalition is expected by the first of August.
