New Year's Eve outdoor celebrations will attract a number of people to streets and squares to wait for the arrival of the New Year with music and a drink or two. According to meteorologist, this year fireworks will be clearly visible.
The temperatures in the low country will range between minus five and minus ten degrees Celsius, but for a change the New Year's Eve will be clear, and fireworks which will be lit in the larger cities all over Slovenia clearly visible.
New Year's Eve parties all over Slovenia will start already during the day. In Congress Square in Ljubljana children will gather in the afternoon to wait for Jack Frost and fairy tale heroes. It will be merry in Bled as well, where the largest children New Year's Eve party in Slovenia is being organized.
In the beginning of the New Year some snowflakes will make us happy; on Saturday the snowfall boundary will be between 400 and 600 metres of altitude, and during the night to Sunday it will be snowing in the low country as well. It will stop snowing on Sunday afternoon.
