It's about children! coalition on Thursday evening filed a complaint to Constitutional Court based on the decision of the National Assembly to ban the referendum on the amended bill on marriage. As said by the coalition leaders Aleš Primc and Metka Zevnik, the constitional complain contains 17 pages. According to Zevnik procedural unconstitutionalities and illegalities are listed, among other things unconstitutionality of the amended bill on family relations, which in their opinion does not abolish the unconstitutionality regarding human rights and other freedoms. At the same time the right for referendum decision-making is interfered with.

Constitutional Court emphasized that the complaints on the Patria Case the constitutional judges are dealing with presently will take precedence before the decision on referendum.
