The Slovenian member of the Court of Arbitration Jernej Sekolec has resigned as the Slovenian member of the Court of Arbitration after media disclosed that he had been discussing the arbitration procedure with the Slovenian agent at the Court of Arbitration Simona Drenik, which is against the rules.

TV Slovenija reports that Simona Drenik has resigned as well. The cabinet of PM Miro Cerar confirmed that Cerar has accepted Drenik's resignations. The Court of Arbitration in the press released confirmed that it has been informed of the Sekolec's resignation, and that unless Slovenia appoints his successor within 15 days, the president of the Court will nominate one.

The Court intends to continue with the arbitration without any delays, as soon as it is complete. The government had not been officially informed at today's session, and no decisions had been made, or concrete discussions held regarding further actions, said Minister of Public Administration after the government session.
