The criminal search underway at the bad bank is looking into suspected abuse of office in connection to payments made out on the basis of consultancy contracts in the amount of 2,8 million euros, informed Slovenia’s police via Twitter. In the past, apart from the media, the Corruption Prevention Commission and the Court of Audit also warned that some of the consultancy contracts were disputable.

A contentious 2,8 million euros for counseling
According to the Finance business daily, among the practices under investigation by crime officers is also the company’s contract with consulting firm Quartz+Co, whose partner was the previously dismissed BAMC executive director Torbjörn Mansson. The investigation at the BAMC offices started at 7 a.m. More details are expected to be presented by the police later today.
