Officials from the Koper Police station have announced that the final stages of a criminal investigation on suspicion of offenses related to illegal drug trade have been conducted. The Koper Prosecutor's Office is leading the investigation.

Illegal production of drugs as well as trade in narcotic drugs and doping substances is punishable by a 15 year prison sentence. Police will disclose further details on the case at a press conference tomorrow afternoon.
