Head of the government Commission for Concealed Mass Graves Jože Dežman says that the government's intention to spend most of the funds for a monument to war victims means that they did not plan to properly bury them.
A government development programme envisages a monument to all war victims and the cleaning up of two shafts at Huda Jama. The two year programme has a budget of 700.000 € most of which will be used for the monument. According Dežman it was more important to bury the victims first.
