According to the Commission Slovenia's draft budget envisages a timely correction of the excessive deficit in 2015 but the recommended pace of structural fiscal reforms is not expected to be met.

The Commission also assessed that Slovenia has made limited progress in implementing fiscal structural reforms and therefore has called upon the authorities to accelerate implementation of the Commission’s recommendations.
