It was a sad day for Miami Heat. They not only lost the match against New Orleans with 105:91, but Chris Bosh is lost for them for the rest of the season.
He was forced to conclude his season due to blood clots in his lung. Dragić scored no points in the first halftime; he started playing well in the third quarter and scored ten points, and added two more in the last quarter. His brother Zoran didn't play.
Injuries had no impact
The New Orleans top star Anthony Davis was injured in the first quarter (6 points). Just before the end of the first halftime his team mate Ryan Anderson was injured as well (4). Eric Gordon (24) thus took offense in his hands.
Spoelstra: We still have a lot to do
Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said after the match: "It was an extremely emotional day for us. It seemed as if our team was made of strangers who had never met before. We have a lot of work to do, but nothing we can't fix."
Next match on Monday
"It was difficult. Sometimes I didn't know where to go," was Dragić's comment on his lack of familiarity with the new system. Next opportunity will come on Monday, when Miami hosts Philadelphia.
