Opposition against the date was based on the fact that it would take place during school holidays and a time when many citizens are on vacation.

The court also heard an appeal by former Prime Minister Janez Janša, who was convicted of bribery in the Patria case and has been summoned to appear at the Dob prison at the end of the month. A quick decision is expected.
