The Slovenian Environmental Agency ARSO also warns of flooding by the sea. River levels are expected to rise in the lower Alps and in other parts of the west and north iof the country. On the night between Saturday and Sunday rivers will also rise in the east, especially in the area of Celje and in the regions of Podravje, Posotelje and Slovenske Gorice. At the same time the snow line is expected to drop to around 1000 meters above sea level.
