A new study on the impact of EU's Erasmus student exchange programme shows that graduates with international experience fare far better on the job market. They are half as likely to experience long-term unemployment as those who have not studied or trained abroad.
The new Erasmus+ programme will provide EU grants to nearly 4 million people between 2014 and 2020. The overall budget for Erasmus+ has been bumped to €14.7 billion, a 40 percent increase over the previous seven-year budget.
