EuroBasket 2013 preliminary round

EuroBasket 2013 began today. A total of 24 European national teams are taking part. Matches are held in Ljubljana, Koper, Jesenice and Celje. In the preliminary round Israel lost against Great Britain with 71:75, Latvia won against Bosnia and Herzegovina with 86:75, Georgia defeated Poland with 84:67 and Turkey lost against Finland with 55:61. Eurobasket is the biggest sporting event in Slovenia's history and it will run until the 22nd of September.
