According to the Foreign Ministry, Tina Zorman, her husband, their two children and her mother had not turned to them for help until last week. However, Zorman, who owns a travel agency in Sanaa, last Thursday contacted the Slovenian embassy in Cairo, saying that the situation in Yemen had deteriorated so precipitously that she and her family wanted to leave the country.
Sources close to the family told MMC that the family already left Yemen and got on a UN evacuation flight that brought them to the Ethiopian capital of Addis Abeba at 3 PM. The Foreign Ministry added that the family plans to take the first available plane and return to Slovenia.
