Gramatik is the stage name of Denis Jašarević, an electronic artist, DJ and producer who grew up Portorož, Slovenia, but now lives and works in New York, infusing his work with social and political relevance. Already his first performance on the Križanke open-air stage had been impressive – the tickets to his concert sold out several weeks before the concert.

„Personally, I'm not such a big supporter of the global society we live in. The Web has been a salvation for the society – free flow of information has brought people closer together and made them better informed, they have wider horizons. However, it seems more and more people find disinformation online, or perhaps it's in their nature, and such disinformation spurs their ignorance even more," emphasizes the artist.

Since his first show at Križanke, Gramatik has performed at the legendary Coachella festival (in the company of hip-hop legend Raekwon), mentored a talented young producer from Maribor by the (artistic) name of Emilijo A.C., and released an EP album called Epigram. The album – as its title alludes to – is a tribute to one of his role models, Nikola Tesla. As part of Europe-wide promotion of his new album, Gramatik is visiting the main stage of Serbia's Exit on Sunday for the first time in his career as well as returning to Ljubljana to greet his fans for the second time.
