The Vicious Cat or Hudi maček award for best film was presented to the Hungarian movie Isteni műszak (Heavenly Shift) from director Mark Bodzsar. The Vicious Cat for lifetime achievements went to Serbian producer and Yugoslavian pioneer of Fantastic Film Đorđe Kadijević.

The festival came to an end with the famous zombie parade. This year the six-day event in the north-eastern Slovenian city of Ljutomer offered 28 evening and 33 short films as well as 11 music documentaries from around the world. The festival is named after the eminent jurist Karol Grossmann from Ljutomer, considered the pioneer of Slovenian film.
