Today and tomorrow the Croatian side will present its arguments and on Thursday and Friday it is Slovenia’s turn to present its standpoint. On Friday Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec will also be in The Hague as the key interest of Slovenia, this is access to High Seas, will be on the agenda.
Next week both sides will answer questions of the tribunal. In accordance with the Arbitration Agreement the hearing will not be open to the public but a press release will be issued after the hearing. The decision of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague is expected within one year and will be final and legally binding for both countries.
