From 2017 to 2021 Hidria will supply automobile manufacturing companies with its system for cold ignition of diesel motors equipped with a pressure sensor. The agreements worth EUR 110 million in total have been signed with multiple globally positioned car manufacturers, and in some cases Hidria will be the only supplier in this field.

Hidria's system for cold ignition measures the pressure within the cylinder(s) of the engine itself, and sends information directly to the central computer of the engine, regulating fuel injection and other parameters of key importance for optimal fuel burn.

The development of the new system should reinforce Hidria's position in the segment of automobile industry, since Hidria believes its solution will cover over a third of the world's demand for modern diesel ignition systems.
