Here you can see for yourself how did the Slovenian basketball players manage on their flight to the World Championship in Spain.
A day after the penultimate preliminary match against Lithuania Jure Zdovc took his team to the Canary Islands, to Las Palmas, where the preliminaries in D group will start on Saturday. Before that, the last preliminary match against the USA is scheduled.
A plain presents a nightmare for two metres tall players; especially their legs suffer in the small spaces available between seats packed close together. Except if you manage to get a seat next to the emergency exit, which is by tall passengers considered the most desired seat on the plane. Slovenian basketball players had three seats each, which made the flight to Spain, lasting a couple of hours, much easier.
