Currently the best Slovenian female alpine skier went on the ski run as 13th. Despite her mistake in the middle part, which took away a few precious milliseconds, she still managed totake the lead.

Four Italians among top 6
Cornelia Hütter of Austria came closest (+0,28) to Štuhec, while four Italian skiers took the remaining four place among the top 6, with Sofia Goggia (+0,32) sharing the podium.

"I wasn't aware today that this would be a winning performance. I made a few mistakes, that number one took me by surprise yet again. I perceive things a bit differently at times. When I make mistakes, I tell to myself – what are you doing? More thoughts are running through my head as it may seem. It's all really great, I'm enjoying it and hoping it would last," said the overjoyed Štuhec after the race.
