Tihana Lazović, acting in Zenit, also won the Outstanding Actress award, while Karel Roden won the Outstanding Actor award for his role in Družinski film, directed by Slovenian Olmo Omerzu. While receiving the prize the Czech actor joked that he was really happy that the award did not go to the dog, which also plays one of the leading roles in the film. The prize for best actor is worth 5.000 euros, while the award for best film brings a prize of 25.000 euros.

Zenit, which together with Družinski film can be seen at the upcoming Ljubljana International Film Festival - Liffe, also won the International Federation of Film Critics - Fipresci award in Cottbus for best film of the festival.

Director Jan Cvitkovič stressed that he made Šiška Deluxe for the audience, and that the film could not have received a more appropriate first international prize. The award will bring the director 3.000 euros. The comedy of the famous Ljubljana borough and three friends deciding to open a pizza place is also well received by Slovenia’s audience. In the two weeks of screening in Slovenian cinemas it has been seen by 7.342 people.
