The Constitutional Court found that the Information Commissioner Nataša Pirc Musar exceeded its statutory powers and also interfered with the independence of the Agency for Protection of Competition (AVK), who performed the control of the cartel agreements between Mercator, Spar and Engrotuš.

Tanko states the reporting of magazine Finance, which this week revealed "how the business of the spouse of the Information Commissioner, Nataša Pirc Musar, took four million euros from creditors - the State, the state company Kapitalska družba d.d. and other shareholders of HTG."

According to SDS-parliamentary group there is no longer a reason for Pirc Musarjeva to continue to perform the function of the Information Commissioner.
