October's stormy events when Kampl did not show up for the team's preparations for the matches against Slovakia and England, and when the joint statement of the players condemning Kampl's move hurt Kampl’s feelings, now seem to be forgotten.

The Bayer football player talked to the head coach and his assistants Aleš Čeh and Tomaž Kavčič around one month ago when they paid him a visit in Leverkusen. On Monday, at Brdo pri Kranju, ahead of the first training session for the match against Scotland, Kampl also held a meeting with his teammates.

»I feel very good to be back. The boys welcomed me nicely, I also talked with our coach so everything is O.K. I'm very happy to be back again,« said Kevin Kampl.

"We had a nice conversation and that story is now finished. Kevin is part of the team. The things we talked about stay in the locker room," added the team captain Boštjan Cesar
