Four former executives are suspected of economic crimes for a total of 2.5 million. In April two years ago, bankruptcy ended the once successful factory of biomass energy Vransko. Workers went on strike and due to unpaid salaries and other irregularities, an inspection was initiated.
Two years ago, detectives investigated allegations of various forms of economic crime in KIV and its subsidiaries. Four former executives are facing up to seven criminal charges, which will include the violation of workers' rights, corporate fraud, defrauding creditors and unjustified use of foreign labels.
