Kozlovič announced that she would make sure everything was lawful: "My life until now was such that I always made sure things were done lawfully and professionally."
Lilijana Kozlovič will be replaced in parliament by retired doctor Vlasta Počkaj, who was on the SMC (Modern Centre Party) ballot in Sežana.
The media first reported that Kozlovič might become the new Secretary-General of the Government on Wednesday, when PM Cerar accepted Krašovec’s resignation. Cerar said he thought Krašovec carried out his responsibilities in a good, professional and conscientious manner.
