The match ended 2:2. Maribor got a 1-0 result in the first leg. However Maribor wants more and is now in the last qualifying round for the Champions League. On Friday in Nyon a draw will decide who will play against Maribor in the next round.

After the match Maribor's trainer Ante Šimundža said: "As I have predicted before the match we want to score a goal and we even scored two goals."
