Slovenian Marko Korošec is a storm and tornado chaser. He is inspired by these natural phenomena. His photographs are exceptional and he often risks his life for a good photo, especially when he is chasing tornados in the United States.
The National Geographic Traveler also realized his passion and talent. Korošec has won first place in National Geographic’s 2014 Traveler Photo Contest. More than 18,000 entries were submitted to the contest.
And Marko’s photo was taken last year in Tornado Alley, Colorado. Winning first place in the contest Korošeč will join an 8-day National Geographic expedition to Alaska in spring.
